SPLIT

This work is a collaboration with Larimer Richards. We photographed  the fingers, toes, fingernails and toenails of the two of us and our two daughters. We digitally embroidered them into the form of a rattlesnake skin, whose design we based on a snake found on our Mexican land. Representing the touch of humans and reptiles, the piece is a metaphor for the action of maintaining a family unit post divorce.
